- • Isopropyl alcohol (90%+)
- • Thermal paste

Safety first
- • Power off and unplug; ground yourself.
Steps
- 1Blow dust from fans, heatsinks, and vents with short bursts of compressed air (hold fans still).
- 2For overheating CPUs/GPUs: remove the heatsink, clean old paste with isopropyl alcohol.
- 3Apply a pea-sized dot of fresh thermal paste and reseat the heatsink evenly.
- 4Reassemble and confirm temperatures are back in a safe range under load.
