  • • Isopropyl alcohol (90%+)
  • • Thermal paste
  • • Screwdriver

  • • Power off and unplug; ground yourself.

Steps

  1. 1Blow dust from fans, heatsinks, and vents with short bursts of compressed air (hold fans still).
  2. 2For overheating CPUs/GPUs: remove the heatsink, clean old paste with isopropyl alcohol.
  3. 3Apply a pea-sized dot of fresh thermal paste and reseat the heatsink evenly.
  4. 4Reassemble and confirm temperatures are back in a safe range under load.
