Reseat / Replace a Graphics Card

  • • Phillips screwdriver

Safety first

  • • Power off and unplug; discharge with the power button.

Steps

  1. 1Unplug the GPU power connectors and remove the bracket screw(s).
  2. 2Press the slot release latch and lift the card straight out.
  3. 3Firmly reseat the card until the latch clicks; reattach screws and power connectors.
  4. 4Connect your monitor to the GPU port and power on. If still no display, try the motherboard video port to isolate the card.
